With the new regulations, cars can revv upto 100kmph, while the new limit for the heavy commercial and passenger vehicles like buses and trucks is 80kmph. Earlier, there was not any definite speed limit for the cars, while the bigger vehicles were limited to 65kmph. The new limits are defined on the basis of new, advanced technologies and safety features in the vehicles. However, the abcense of proper roads can increase the fatality as most of the vehicles are still running without essential safety systems like ABS and airbags.
