The love of Indian Bikers for Sports bike is reaching heights with the fact that Indian Superbike imports have increased over 1000 units per annum. The bike enthusiast looks forward to the new and more enhanced bikes with outstanding looks and are also ready to spend as per their choice. An overall expenditure on the Superbikes from the Indian Richie Rich's accounts to be more than five to ten crores.

An ever great and surprising change is been noticed with the Indian roads is that a Super bike which was seen once in a blue moon, now is seen in every next street. Also the big sports bike companies are approaching Indian market and are working hard to make their stand prominent with their new and belligerent bike models. The youngsters from India proves to be the hard core lovers for these sporty bikes that enhances their personality and status. The basic reason for the increment of sales of such bulky and powerful bikes is the growing Indian economy and millionaires being a part of the Indian customers.

The Sports bikes are a product of the ever famous and most trusted brands like Ducati, Yamaha, Suzuki, Harley Davidson and Hyosung which already have been experiencing good response from Indian customers and are also planning to settle in India with their enhanced and alluring models. Also BMW Mottard is ready to try its luck with Indian market and is soon to enter the Indian bike world with its all new and refreshed models which is supposed to be tagged with a price of Rs. 18 lakh and above.

Hyosung, an amazing bike manufacturer has thought to re-enter India with new products after a long time. Also Harley Davidson with a view to reduce the amount of import duty and to provide Indian customers the bikes with reasonable price is planning to establish manufacturing plants here in India where basically reassembling of the parts would take place. The Superbike market of India has been showing a continuous increase, which presently accounts to be 20%.
