Hyosung Tightening its Seat Belt for Entering in Indian Bike Market

It seems after making a successful presence in Auto Expo held at Delhi last month, auto companies have now started working on changing their dreams exhibited during Expo into reality. With India emerging as one of fast growing market for superbikes various international bike manufacturers are turning their eyes on Indian bike market. In this series Korea-based bike manufacturing company Hyosung in an alliance with Garware Motors is going to launch Hyosung series of bikes in Indian bike market. It is reported that Hyosung is going to launch its two superbikes Hyosung GT650R and Hyosung ST7 in Indian bike market.

The new Hyosung GT650 is speculated to get touch competition from Kawasaki Ninja 650R from Bajaj Auto. It is also rumored that Hyosung is also anticipating to enter in the market of 250cc segment of bikes in Indian bike market. It will be making its presence in 250 cc segment by launching Hyosung GT250R in India market. It is also reported that with an objective of boosting sales of Hyosung GT250R in India, company is also speculating to provide finance schemes at low interest rate.

As far as features adorned in Hyosung GT250R are concerned, physically it was carry the same facial expressions that are assimilated in its elder sibling Hyosung GT650R. However, GT250R will be energized with V-Twin 250cc engine chalking out the power of 28.5 bhp at 10,000 rpm and generating the torque of 22.68 Nm at 8000 rpm. It is supported by 5-speed manual transmission box. With wheelbase of 1445 mm it weighs 171 kgs and is expected to grab attention of every eye while riding on road.

With fuel tank capacity of 17 litres Hyosung GT250R has an overall measurement of 2060m length, 65mm wide, 1125 mm high. The bike will be available in fascinating color combination of red and black, grey and black, and full black. The bike is going to be the tough contender for 250cc bikes being launched by Honda and Kawasaki.
