Honda sales in October grew by 19 percent

After TVS and Suzuki, it's Honda that has reported an increase in sales in the month of October. The company has witnessed 19 percent surge in total sales with 4,49,028 units sold compared to 3,77,001 units in October 2014. As per the sales of motorcycles, the numbers were slightly down as the company sold 1,61,685 units compared to 1,62,188 of October last year.

If we talk about scooters, Honda sold 1,99,466 units in last October and the sales have reportedly grown this year with 2,70,271 units sold. The company sold 90,000 units on the occasion of Dusshera and it reports that the domestic market share has increased by 1 percent to 26 percent. And if we include the export numbers, the overall market share stands at 24 percent.

As we all know Honda has already lined up its new upcoming machine to be launched which is CB Hornet 160R, the bike would be directly competing with Suzuki Gixxer and Yamaha FZ. The Japanese manufacturer has launched 13 new products this financial year which helped them gain a good name in the market and surely was a good help in increasing the sales.
