Honda India Organizes “Congratulatory Ride” To Welcome Gold Wing Owners

Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI) recently organized a Big Bike Congratulatory Ride to celebrate the spirit of its world-leading touring motorcycle, Honda Gold Wing. At an event held in the capital, the company welcomed five Gold Wing owners into their family and the ride consisted of more than 50 riders including existing Honda customers.

The ride was flagged off from Honda Wing showroom at Naraina and reassembled at a hotel location in Gurgaon, after covering a distance of 80kms, enthralling bystanders as they cruised down on Delhi roads during the early morning hours. The owners were overwhelmed with Honda’s initiative to organize such an event which provided them an opportunity to take time out from their busy lives and cherish a fun-filled ride with their fellow members. In the end, the riders were felicitated with ‘Congratulatory Certificates’ by Honda.

Honda Gold Wing is an iconic touring motorcycle that houses a 1,832cc, liquid-cooled, horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine that pumps out 116.6bhp of power and 167Nm of torque. The mill uses a five-speed gearbox with an electric reverse gear for ease. Besides a sound braking and suspension unit, the bike has been provided with some majestic features like iPhone compatibility, six-speaker surround sound music system, heated seats and grips, foot warmer, cruise control and seat height adjustment that make it a true leader in worldwide tourer bike segment.

The company launched the 40th Anniversary Edition of Gold Wing in India in November, 2014 to which it received an overwhelming response getting queries from all over the India on its availability.
