Honda CBR 650F Launched in India at Rs. 7.3 Lacs (Exclusive Video Inside)

The much awaited moment has finally come for the auto enthusiasts countrywide. Yes, its 4th of August today that witnessed the launch of premium middleweight sports tourer, Honda CBR 650F in India. The bike has been launched at Honda’s Revfest event today that took place in eight Indian cities simultaneously.

Honda CBR 650F has been loaded with a 649cc, liquid-cooled, four-stroke, 16-valve, inline-four motor that uses six-speed constant mesh transmission to transmit the power to the rear wheels. The Programmed Fuel Injected (PGM-Fi) Honda mill generates a net power of 85.8bhp at 11,000rpm while pumping out a maximum torque of 63Nm at 8,000rpm.

The bike moves gracefully on 120/70ZR-17 front and 180/55ZR-17 rear tubeless tyres that come fitted over hollow-section six-spoke cast aluminum alloy wheels. The braking is done with the help of 320mm dual disc brakes with twin-piston calliper up front and 240mm single disc brake with single piston calliper at the rear. A two-channel ABS unit further refines the braking and offers superior stability.

The CBR 650F avails a stress free and comfy ride as it comes assisted with 41mm telescopic forks at the front and single shock absorber with preload adjustability at the rear. Honda CBR 650F sits on twin spar steel frame and comes with a sharp and edgy headlamp section. The overall body profile looks impressive and following the sportbike tradition, this one also features a step up seat with a short and trimmed muffler. 

The midweight 650cc sporty machine will be exclusively sold through 12 “Wing World” dealerships across the country that are situated at New Delhi/Mumbai, Bangalore, Indore, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Pune, Kochi, Lucknow and Bhubaneswar. The bookings for the bike had already commenced few days back at a token amount of Rs. 50,000. With this launch, the overall sales report of the company might get a pleasing boom, which will eventually help Honda understanding the Indian market in a better way. The bike has been priced at Rs. 7.3 lacs (ex-showroom, Delhi) and Rs. 7.6 lacs (ex-showroom, Mumbai) for the Indian market. Check out the launch video of Honda CBR 650F.
