Honda acquires 25.6 percent share of Indian two-wheeler market in April 2015

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) became the "Highest Volume & Market Share gainer in April, 2015" and records 9% growth by selling 340,791 units, even when the two-wheeler industry experiences a negative growth of 4% (Domestic and Exports both).
In the month of April, Honda’s Domestic Market share went up by 2%, attaining 25.6%, while Domestic + Export market share reached 23.5% (3% up). Also, volume sales went up by 26,785 units (Dom+Exp) as compared to 57,697 units of industry sales that dropped.
On the occasion of Akshay Tritiya, HMSI Sales crossed 41,000 units on Akshay Tritiya in a single day, recording 50% sales growth YoY over last year.
Also, in April, Honda inaugurated its 8th Traffic Training Park, its 1st in South India at Hyderabad, to spread the message of road safety among the masses.
