Hero Electric to launch E-motorcycle in Europe

Hero Electric, the Indian Electric two wheeler major, is mulling over to launch an E-bike in Europe. The bike will be displayed in Switzerland later this month. After that, it will be available for whole European market.

 

As per officials, this Hero Electric motorcycle will be showcased at Switzerland on February 17. The bike is loaded with high power mortar and Tiawanese technology used in it. After the success of this bike, the company might bring high power scooters as well.

 

Right now, Hero Electric is producing 200 to 250 bikes per shift and according to demand it will grow bikes production. The demand for electric two wheeler in European market is 500 units per year while electric vehicles demand in India is 85,000 units per year.

 

In India the Government is also promoting e-bikes and providing subsidy on them. All the electric bike manufacturer companies of India such as Hero Electric, Electrotherm and Ajanta Group are going to grab the Indian bike market with their e-bikes. Because prices of petrol and petrol engine vehicles are growing which is going heavy on customer's pocket so demand for e-vehicles will grow sure, as per reports. At present, Indian e-bike market is dominated by Avon E bike, EKO COSMIC, Indus Yo, Hero electric E sprint.
