Bookings open for 2011 Aprilia RSV4 in India

Finally the bookings for 2011 Aprilia RSV4 has been opened by the Italian motorcycle giant Aprilia. The company is taking booking orders at its just opened showrooms at major Indian cities. Since a long time the bike is most awaited in India and now ready to available very soon. Aprilia had already displayed this bike in India and now taking booking orders. The bike will be available from upcoming June or August.

 

The company is finally ready to provide its first bike- Aprilia RSV4 for Indian buyers. Aprila RVS4 falls in world's best performer bike models which won lots of world racing championships.India is world's second largest two-wheeler market and since 2010 the Indian superbike market is growing with unexpected growth rate and almost all the world's superbike key players have entered in this mass market. The superbike providers in India are Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Harley Davidson, Ducati, Hyosung and now the Italian giant Aprilia. Meanwhile another super maker like Victory and Triumph have also announced their superbikes in India.

 

The highly sophisticated and feature rich Aprilia RSV4 is loaded with a four stroke, 998.20 cc power machine that offers eloquent power of 180.00 hp(131.4 kW) at 12500 rpm and a beating torque of 115.00 Nm (11.7 kgf-m or 84.8 ft.lbs) at 10000 rpm. The bike is packed with a host of electronic aides including ride-by-wire multimap system, a sophisticated electronic injection system with two injectors and adjustable geometry chassis. Overall design and appearance of the bike is sporty that impress everybody.

 

This new bike is answer to Honda CBR 1000RR, Ducati Hypermotard, Ducati Monster, Ducati Sports Classic, Ducati Streetfighter, Ducati Superbike and recently launched Vyrus 987C 4V. The company has not announced the price of the bike; however, it would be priced in the range of Rs. 13 lakh to Rs 18 lakh.
