Previous month has not been quite good for Bajaj Auto as the company’s total sale was dropped by 8 percent. The Pune-based auto maker sold 3,08,733 units in October as compared to 3,36,923 during the similar period in 2014.

Even the total number of commercial vehicle sold was also dropped by 10 percent. Last year, the company sold 49,094 in the month of October, whereas, in 2015 they were able to sell 44,089 units only.

Overall, the company sold 3,52,822 units last month in comparison to 3,86,017 units sold similar period of time in 2014. The overall sales report shows a decline of 9 percent. The exports also saw a major dip and only 1,27,645 vehicles were sold overseas in October 2015 against 1,58,547 units in October 2014. Even though there is a decline in total sales as compared to the previous year, but the numbers are actually not that bad while comparing it to the other two-wheeler makers.

Recently, Bajaj launched the new range of Avenger Series, which hopefully boost the total sales during the festive season. We need to wait and see how exactly the new Avenger will perform in the market.
