2015 EICMA

The 2015 EICMA, which was held at Milan in Italy, took the automotive world by storm. The show was the venue for the debut of a lot of two-wheelers from renowned companies and provided them a platform to showcase their latest offerings. The biking giants like Yamaha, Honda, Benelli, Suzuki, Indian, Triumph and Ducati took the stage and showed the world what they were capable of. #2015EICMA: Ducati Unveils Seven New Stunning Machines



Ducati has recently unveiled seven new models at the World Premiere that took place at 73rd Motorcycle Show in Milan, Italy. With this, the long wait for all Ducati fans has finally come to an end and needless to say, Ducati has indeed displayed some spectacular examples of motorcycling. The models launched are Multistrada 1200 Enduro, Multistrada Pikes Peak, Hypermotard, XDiavel, 959 Panigale, Scrambler Flat Track and Scrambler Sixty2 along with revisions to the Hypermotard range. 2016 KTM Duke 690 and 690R showcased at 2015 EICMA



At the 2015 EICMA in Milan, the Austrian Motorcycle manufacturer KTM unveiled the 2016 model of KTM Duke 690 and 690R. Both the bikes come with an enhanced single cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that stimulate 1000 rpm higher and offers more uniform power delivery. This revised engine comprises of intake camshaft which works as an additional balancer shaft, thereby enhancing refinement. Furthermore, the intake and exhaust system have been modified to make the mill accommodate well with Euro4 emission norms (It's the first KTM engine that has received such kind of approval). The standard version of the Duke 690 churns out 73PS of power and 75Nm of torque when it comes linked to a 6-speed transmission, whereas the Duke 690R develops 75PS of power just because of Akrapovic exhaust system. EICMA 2015: KTM 1290 Super Duke GT and 1290 Super Duke R Special Edition launched



The KTM 1290 Super Duke R is a machine that truly lives up to the name “The Beast”.  It could be an effective touring machine if you could mount bags and a windscreen to it. Well, that’s exactly what drove KTM with its latest model, the KTM 1290 Super Duke GT, which takes the 173hp streetfighter, and gives its bags, more fairing, and a windshield. The KTM 1290 Super Duke GT increases its touring capability with the inclusion of pannier mounts that are integrated onto the GT, and a windshield that is adjustable. With fourth gear power wheelies, no one can say that the KTM 1290 Super Duke R is slow, and the street fighter has a surprisingly comfortable riding triangle that makes going on longer trips a piece of cake. Similarly, the footpegs are lower for better space for your legs, more fuel capacity has been added for longer trips on a full tank and you can adjust the handlebars by 22mm with its four different positions. Triumph Bonneville Range Showcased at EICMA



Triumph Motorcycles has showcased the new Bonneville range at EICMA 2015. The line-up which was on display had Street Twin, Bonneville T120, Bonneville T120 Black, Thruxton and Thruxton R along with David Beckham’s custom Thruxton R from the recent film, Outlaws. The company also introduced their Explorer 1200 adventure tourer line-up at the event. The motorcycle comes in six variants namely - XC, XCa, XC, XCx, XR, XRx and XRt.
