As we reported you earlier, Yamaha Motor India is all set to launch an updated version of its best selling 150cc, FZ series, and the test mule in the spy pictures was looking much similar to the model showcased at the Auto Expo 2014. Now some closer spy shots of the bike have been captured by the Motoroids, in which the motorcycle is looking production ready.

The updated version of the bike might be christened as Yamaha FZ Version 2.0 as the company did with the updated YZF-R15. The new bike will get many cosmetic changes, however, we can't say anything about the technical updates as of now. It will get new tank flaps with air scoops along with a redesigned seat, rear panels, rear grab rail, seat, exhaust and tail lamp.

Headlamp, visor and fuel tank of the new Yamaha FZ V2.0 are also looking a little bit tweaked, which will certainly bring much difference in its appearance. However, the new rear tyre fendor is not so impressive. The engine is looking quite similar to the unit that powers the existing FZ series, but the company can make slight modification in it to deliver a little extra amount of bhp.

As the updated model is looking production ready, Yamaha may launch the FZ Version 2.0 very soon at the same or a slightly increased price.
