Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI), the only two-wheeler company of Honda in India, today launched its India specific three pronged Corporate Direction at a high voltage event in Delhi.
To support a noble cause, cyclists pedalled 2300 km, spreading the message of ‘Save the girl Child’. Firefox Bikes supported the rally and the cause. After pedaling 2300 km, Shri Datta Patil (International Cyclist) and Sudhir Patil, from the International Cycle Academy who embarked on a cycle rally from Sangli to Panipat from 22nd April 2012, reached New Delhi on their way campaigning against female Feticide and save the girl child. As a part of this noble cause, 15 boys and 15 girls have enrolled themselves to pedal a distance of 2500 km covering a total of 18 cities.
Discover 125 ST launch saw the Bajaj Auto confirm the Pulsar 200 SS launching plans in the coming period. The SS abbreviates to Super Sports in the name Pulsar 200 SS. Although the company kept silence on the specific details as to when can we expect the Pulsar SS to release but stated that Pulsar 200 NS would hit the market by first week of July. Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS would be featured at a higher position than Pulsar 200 NS. The vehicle would be featuring same mechanical features as Pulsar 200 NS. Still the most vital change that would be introduced in the bike would be to the gearing.

A day before, Bajaj unveiled its all new Discover 125 ST commuter bike and today its the chance of Honda to hit the bike market with its Honda Dream Yuga which is a 110cc motorcycle announced during the Auto Expo 2012. With the tagline 'Ek naya yug, ek naya dream', HMSI intends to make Dream Yuga, a dream of every bike lover, a mass market motorcycle with an affordable price tag of Rs. 44,642. The stylish looks of this bike are minimalistic and conservative to attract the mass segment buyers and it claims to to be the most maintenance free motorcycle in the commuter bike segment.

Bajaj Auto has finally brought to light the 2012 Discover motorcycle in India. The new Bajaj Discover is dubbed as the Discover 125 ST where the ST stands for Sports Tower. The bike is powered by the 125cc engine that comes with the twin-spark and air cooled technology. The four valve engine of bike gives out 13 PS peak power output at 9000 RPM along with a torque of 11 Nm at 7000 RPM. Another feature that the new Bajaj Discover St facilitates the rider with is the ExhausTec technology that powers the bike to gather a top speed of 105 km/h. The corrugated fins makes sure that the rider gets better engine cooling thereby making sure that the bike gets to travel long distances with maximum efficiency.

The big boys of car manufacturers, BMW, is now about to launch the macho F650 GS. BMW F650GS is another powerful machine from the manufacturing veterans, and is a rugged motorbike, that is designed for a long and hectic driving. The bike is going to be introduced in India only after tackling some of the most challenging routes throughout the globe. Although, the bike is currently priced at Rs. 9.99 lacs, it may go up to Rs. 12 lacs in the coming period.

The success of the mini-street bike manufactured in Pune and later sold in Europe has encouraged the Europe's bike manufacturing giant, KTM Power Sports AG, to create a series of new products in collaboration with its Indian partners, Bajaj Auto. The Austrian bike manufacturing veterans are planning to create a high capacity bike along with some more platforms for fresh models that may be created in the future with their partners Bajaj Auto, who also happen to be India's second largest two-wheeler manufacturer.
